An important message from our Board Co-Chairs:
Dear Prospective Member-
The 2018-2019 programming year marks YNPN Greater Bflo’s fifth anniversary as a volunteer-run chapter of YNPN National– a group which seeks to strengthen the Western New York social sector by serving as an inclusive and innovative resource for networking and professional development. In this time, our organization has seen tremendous growth, and we must plan for the future so we can expand opportunities and benefits to our members.
To help YNPN Greater Bflo better meet the needs of serving as an innovative resource, we are moving to a paid membership model. Through a $25 annual membership investment, young nonprofit professionals will endow in an organization that seeks to advocate on their behalf, provide outstanding professional development opportunities, and encourage collaborative partnerships between professionals and organizations.
Moving to a paid membership model will increase YNPN Greater Bflo’s ability to hear the voices of young nonprofit professionals, like yourself. This membership model will allow you to capitalize on opportunities to grow as a professional, be the change, and fulfill a vision of a stronger collaboration between and among the players in the local social sector. In return for your investment, YNPN Greater Bflo will strive to enhance the skills, knowledge, and network of every single one of our members.
The leadership team of YNPN Greater Bflo is excited about the movement to a member-invested network! With this membership model we are confident in our abilities to strengthen and advocate for professionals within the social sector and we are excited to provide a more direct communication link between our leadership team and our invested members. In preparation for this next stage in our organization, we have worked hard to anticipate your questions, but encourage you to reach out to us with any that remain unclear. Membership registration and benefits for 2018-2019 are outlined below and on the accompanying webpages. We look forward to having you as a member of YNPN Greater Bflo!
