YNPN Greater Bflo coordinates events and programming to empower and connect young nonprofit professionals. This includes networking events, professional development workshops, and bringing in guest speakers to share their experiences, insights, and professional perspectives to inform your own nonprofit career journey.

Professional & Leadership Development – workshops, presentations, or conversations centered around skill development and competencies for emerging nonprofit leaders.

Self Care Seriesproviding ways for nonprofit professionals to find balance between work and life and recharge so that they can best serve the community.

Social & Service Networking – opportunities to serve the community and/or network with other nonprofit professionals.

Coffee Power Hours – small group networking opportunities centered around a topic at a local coffee shop, every 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Coffee Power Hour Schedule

Coffee Power Hours are casual networking events that are free & open to everyone, member or not! Each month we will offer a different topic for discussion and attendees are invited to discuss issues, share ideas, and form a network in support of the nonprofit community. Coffee Power Hours are always free to attend, although we encourage attendees to support the local establishments we visit if possible!

Coffee Power Hours take place on the second Wednesday of the month, from 8:00am-9:00am. We invite you to join us at any time during this timeframe, and stay for however long you are able.

Our session on March 9th will be IN-PERSON at Platter’s Cafe (908 Niagara Falls Blvd. North Tonawanda, NY 14120). Please register in advance so we know how many people to look for!

Career Joy Through Mindfulness Meditation with Holly M. Justice

This 40 minute event will allow us to explore what brings you joy, the thoughts that are limiting your joy, and how you can enhance joy in your life and career right now! We’ll define mindfulness and meditation, perform an opening breath meditation, explore what career joy looks like, identify what gets in the way of our joy, enjoy a guided imagery meditation, and have a Q&A section as well.

This event will take place virtually via Zoom on Thursday, March 17th at 12:00 PM. Attendance is free and open to the community.

Cancellation Policy
In the event that YNPN Greater Bflo has to cancel an event, we will do everything
possible to reschedule a comparable program. If a rescheduled event cannot be
offered, then YNPN Greater Bflo will refund those who purchased tickets the full amount of their ticket.

In the event that a ticket purchaser is unable to attend an event they purchased the
ticket for, YNPN Greater Bflo reserves all rights to issue refunds for the amount the
ticket was purchased for at its discretion.
