YNPN Greater Bflo coordinates events and programming to empower and connect young nonprofit professionals. This includes networking events, professional development workshops, and bringing in guest speakers to share their experiences, insights, and professional perspectives to inform your own nonprofit career journey.

Professional & Leadership Development – workshops, presentations, or conversations centered around skill development and competencies for emerging nonprofit leaders.

Self Care Seriesproviding ways for nonprofit professionals to find balance between work and life and recharge so that they can best serve the community.

Social & Service Networking – opportunities to serve the community and/or network with other nonprofit professionals.

Coffee Power Hours – small group networking opportunities centered around a topic at a local coffee shop, every 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Virtual Tour of Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center

The mission of the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center is to reveal authentic stories of Underground Railroad freedom seekers and abolitionists in Niagara Falls that inspire visitors to recognize modern injustices that stem from slavery and take action toward an equitable society.

This virtual tour is open to everyone, and costs $7.00 to register.

ConnectLife Blood Drive

In the spirit of the holidays, YNPN members gather annually to volunteer in December. This year we will be celebrating Holiday Donor Day and invite both members and the community to consider donating blood on Friday, December 11th between 7:00am and 3:00pm at ConnectLife Headquarters (4444 Bryant and Stratton Way, Williamsville, NY 14221).

Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP): Professional Development Series

The Association of Fundraising Professionals empowers individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, networking, research and advocacy. YNPN Greater Bflo has partnered with AFP to provide members with an exclusive offer to attend their Professional Development Series for 50% off. Coffee Power Hour Schedule
December 2020-March 2021

For the time being, we have made each of these events virtual. Please register using the links below to save your spot and receive the Zoom meeting information. Coffee Power Hours are free and open to everyone.

Starting in 2021, Coffee Power Hours will be available for two sessions on each day, 7:30am-9:00am and 11:30am-1:00pm. We invite you to join us at any time during those timeframes, and stay for however long you are able.

Registrants and our website/social media will be updated if the events are switched to in-person.

Cancellation Policy
In the event that YNPN Greater Bflo has to cancel an event, we will do everything
possible to reschedule a comparable program. If a rescheduled event cannot be
offered, then YNPN Greater Bflo will refund those who purchased tickets the full amount of their ticket.

In the event that a ticket purchaser is unable to attend an event they purchased the
ticket for, YNPN Greater Bflo reserves all rights to issue refunds for the amount the
ticket was purchased for at its discretion.
